I hired Yooshi for a birthday party and have no complaints! Weeks later and my guests are still raving about it. The two sushi chefs arrived a couple hours prior to the event and had the sushi set up just prior to the party Start time. They continued to make sushi through the 2 hours and even made special requests guests had. The setup was beautiful with microgreens and pansy flowers on top of a light up stand. They brought everything with them except plates and napkins (as per the contract). Farzad was great to work with. I highly suggest hiring Yooshi!

Farzad was a pleasure to deal with when organizing an event with the Yooshi team. The chefs were professional and friendly, and the food was delicious! This was a huge hit at our party and I highly recommend this team.

This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Farzad quickly responded to our inquiry and put together an estimate that worked for everyone. We had a small gathering, used the VIP experience and Seared Station. IT. WAS. AMAZING! The set up, the presentation, the quality of the chefs and sushi. All was top notch. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Just had an event for 100 people with these guys. We got the VIP package. It came with 2 chefs for 2 hours of unlimited sushi. They arrived promptly and set up before the scheduled time. Everyone enjoyed the food. We did have a few times where the people lining up for the food had to wait as the sushi was being prepared. If doing a formal event like weddings, I would get an extra chef. For our event, 2 chefs was ok. We did have a few non Sushi eaters and they didn't know they could request cooked foods when it ran out so make sure you let them know. Unfortunately I couldn't take more pics as I was hosting the event and was waiting to get food after everyone got it first. I did go around 5 rounds. Definitely recommend!

Farzad and Yooshi Sushi catered our wedding in Monterey, CA on January 29, 2022. Throughout our entire wedding planning journey Farzad was so flexible, patient, and understanding especially when we had to change our original wedding date from May of 2022 to January 2022 due to unforeseen circumstances. He sent emails of encouragement when he didn't need to and really made us feel supported. To be honest my husband and I didn't get to fully experience the sushi bar since we were pulled in so many directions on our wedding day. However, my maid of honor and mom made sure to prepare plates for us--and the taste and quality of the sushi definitely delivered! According to all our friends and family the food was a smashing success! Everyone seemed full, happy, and content. So many people were excited and blown away by sushi catering at our wedding. It was a very unique and special experience for our guests. :)

Amazing catering company. The sushi was soooo good. They include sauce cups, chopsticks, spicy mayo, eel sauce, soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi. It was a great experience having them catered. Will do again soon.

Best catering experience ever. Zad was super accommodating and thoughtful throughout our whole process. The sushi was amazing and the perfect food to have at our wedding. Everything was delicious and the chefs were super quick at all the orders and the setup/cleanup. I highly recommend booking Yooshi for all the sushi lovers out there and the prices are very decent!! We called Farzad at Yooshi Sushi the day before our dinner party and he was a life saver! Two sushi chefs showed up to our dinner party, great personalities, amazing skills and made the best sushi for our guests ever. I can't say enough about the owner of this catering company. I called for service after googling a sushi catering company. I spoke to many other caterers and was not impressed. The owner of this company, Farzad, was extremely personable and responsive to my needs. Crazily enough, I had to cancel their service last minute, due to do horrible weather conditions. However, the owner never flinched about the cancellation, even though "contractually" he did not have to honor the cancellation. We will be re-scheduling the event and I am excited to work with this company in the future. I can tell by the owner's communication skills, he is a professional and truly wants to please his customers.
