Our Guide to Throwing a Bachelorette Camp Party!

Party Guide: Throw a Bachelorette Camp Party!

Does your bestie bride love to reminisce about her days at summer camp? Then treat to her a bachelorette camp party! You and the gals can go to a nearby state park, or glamp someplace luxurious, or even hang out in your own backyard! Here are a few essential tips for getting started:

Step 1: Prep the Backyard

The first thing you will want to do is set the stage for the event. If you are headed to camp grounds, you can bet that you will already have a rustic setting to work with. If you are transforming your own backyard, we love the idea of setting up teepees to hang out in. You can fill them with warm cuddly blankets for when the sun goes down.

Step 2: Set up a Trail Mix Bar

As you may have noticed, we always love a themed food and drink bar! Trail mix and camp go together like peanut butter and jelly, so why not let your guests fill their goody bags with their ideal trail mix components. Just put out a variety of nuts, dried fruit and candy options, and let everyone go to town.

Step 3: Stock the Coolers… or a Canoe!

You might be in your backyard, but it’s still a bachelorette party! Throw some ice in a cooler, a bucket, or even a canoe if you have one handy, and fill it up with some of the bride’s favorite adult beverages.

Step 4: Get Creative With Your S’mores

It’s simply unnatural to go camping and not indulge in tons of ooey gooey delicious s’mores. If you’re in your backyard though, you may not want to start a campfire. This super easy skillet recipe is our favorite way to make s’mores in the oven. Trust us, your gals will go crazy for them!

Step 5: Snuggle up With Your Gal Pals

Once all of the set up is complete, you can just focus on spending quality time with your squad. You can play a few bachelorette party  games, tell some ghost stories from your camp days, or just get caught up on each other’s lives. Happy camping everyone!
