Does your bride-to-be LOVE wine? If a trip to Napa Valley or the Finger Lakes are out of the question for the bachelorette bash, throw her a wine and cheese party right in the comfort of your own home! Just follow these simple steps and you and your gals will feel like you’re at the vineyards in no time.
Step 1: Choose a Variety of Wines
It’s no secret that there are tons of wines out there to try. You can narrow down your options by choosing a theme, such as: wines from a specific region, or even wines from a specific winery. We recommend having both reds and whites available for your guests to taste.
Step 2: Pair Your Cheeses With Your Wines
Once you’ve selected your wines, it’s time to start thinking about what cheeses will taste great with your vino. This handy little chart makes it super easy! Psst- you can also use this chart as a starting point and select types of wines based on yours (or the bride’s) favorite cheeses.

Step 3: Don’t Forget About Additional Snacks!
To throw a really memorable bash, you’re going to want to serve more than just cheese to fill-up your guests! You can easily put together a crowd pleasing charcuterie board. Pick up a selection of cured meats (our favorites include Soppressata and Proscuitto) and display them on a wood cutting board. Other food items that go perfectly with a wine and cheese party include: fresh bread, roasted vegetables, fruit, and olives. You can also put out a selection of spreads or different types of olive oil for dipping the bread.

Step 4: Let Your Guests Start Tasting (and Keep Track!)
Once the big day has arrived, it’s time to start tasting some vino! Handing out a wine scorecard is a fun way for everyone to interact. Plus people may even discover a thing or two about their wine preferences. You can snag a free download of this scorecard here. Enjoy!!
